At your first visit with Dr. Parsa, she will sit down with you to discuss your teeth whitening options, including whether you can use other options such as cosmetic bonding <Link>, porcelain veneers <link> or dentals crowns <link>.
Should you decide to go with a professional take-home kit, Dr. Parsa will do an impression of your teeth and make a custom tray. It takes approximately five business days to create your tray.
At your second appointment, Dr. Parsa will provide you with your custom tray and bleaching solution and go through how to use it. Two weeks is usually recommended for professional tooth whitening, but this is highly individual as it depends on the desired outcome, the individual’s diet, genetics and lifestyle choices (such as smoking). You may choose to buy more bleaching material for touch-ups in the future. After the kit is complete you have the option to come in for a third visit to assess the results and discuss whether you’d like to explore any additional options.
